I have considerable experience in journalism and in producing factual television, independent films and documentaries. In January 2008 I set up Dartmouth Filmswith the aim of making documentaries which make a difference. In view of the changes in the digital world, I am focused on new ways of funding such films and new ways of distributing them. We link film makers with financiers, social networks and affinity groups so that there are a stream of interesting, engaging and entertaining documentaries which will help effect change in our society. In December 2012 I accepted the position of Managing Editor at the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, London. The Bureau in a not-for-profit organisation which works both on its own account and in partnership with established media organisations to bring important stories to public attention.
