I was born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri, but have lived and worked in Colorado, Texas, and now California. I attended Southeast Missouri State University for my Bachelor's Degree and obtained my MBA from Lamar University. I am currently employed as the Assistant Director of the Student Recreation and Wellness Center at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). I also instruct the course “Team Work and Group Dynamics” for the CSULB Department of Recreation and Leisure studies. A majority of my past work experience has been for non-profit organizations, academic departments, and university auxiliaries in managerial positions. Through my past employment, educational, and personal experiences, I have acquired a diverse range of skills that have helped me in my professional advancement. I have a proven record of creating and building successful teams, aided by my strong interpersonal and technical abilities. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy getting outside and being in nature especially when it is with my amazing wife, daughter, and puppy. We love everything from hiking to paddle boarding. I consider myself a lifelong learner and love to build and create. I am always up for life’s next adventure, whether it be in my professional or personal life.
