Responsible for delivering Projects to Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Project Management methodology. Achievements:Managing a project to ensure that a new Fire Station is completed to the required standards. Installation of new equipment and movement of personnel whilst maintaining operational capability. Budget > £210,000 Managing a project to upgrade core ICT network to allow both CFRS and Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service to move forward with new technologies. Liaised with multiple 3rd Party contractors to install new W.A.N and L.A.N equipment across 2 Services and a total of 43 sites. Budget > £372,000Managing a project to implement a service wide helpdesk using Supportwork software. Working with multiple departments to gather user requirements and then with consultants to ensure the software deliveries the required benefits. Project aims to improve query and issue resolution across the organisation in line with Service re-structuring Completed Project Documentation including PID, Communication and Risk Management Plans, Risk/Issue logs and highlight reports. Proactive managed risks and issues to ensure they had minimal impact on the project progress.

Managing a team of Scientists, Analyst and Admin staff to produce evidence to the criminal justice system whilst satisfying customer requirements.Achievements:Developed the business case, worked with the developers to identify User Requirements, tested and validated the design. In order to complete objectives to streamline the process and reduce head count. This resulted in all objectives being met coming in under budget and saving 2 FTE. (£55,000)Lead team to design new business processes using Lean Sigma methodology. In order to fit in with business transformation program aiming to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Resulted in new technologies being employed with reduced processing times and associated costs. Re-write of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and supporting training material to ensure the most up-to-date examination techniques and processes were being used. Worked with training department and senior scientist to formulate a new SOP before implementing into the working environment. This resulted in the use of the most relevant and efficient processes improving quality and reducing timeliness. Production of customer reports in line with contractual agreements to aid improved customer service. Reports produced in a timely fashion highlighted areas of improvement both for the customer and company.Worked with managers nationally by using conference calls, memos, e-mails and team meetings to provide effective communication on staff selection and redundancy. Analyse and sample evidence submitted by customers with the aim of providing DNA to the National DNA Database.Achievements:Coached newly trained individuals in forensic examination techniques, in order that they were fully competent to work in a live environment. Completed this by designing a development plan and following out plan. The result of this was a fully competent and confident operator who had successfully transferred skills learnt in training to a live environment.Use forensic techniques to process evidence submitted by the police. Worked resulted in evidence being processed and profiles being loaded onto the National DNA Database.

Day to day running of a busy social club with the aim of providing a good service to the local customers and club committee, achieved this by book keeping, stock taking, banking, general maintenance and bar work. This work resulted in the club sustaining its cash flow throughout worked period.
