Lean And Continuous Improvement Consultant
CurrentOver the past two decades, my career has been a fascinating exploration of improving government services. I've had the privilege of working for the Province of Ontario, diving deep into Lean methodologies, Systems Thinking, and Continuous Improvement. It's been a journey filled with incredible insights and countless aha moments. As I embark on this new venture, my mission remains crystal clear: to enhance the work-lives of public servants. Why? Because I firmly believe that when we optimize their experiences, we create a ripple effect that directly benefits the citizens who rely on their work. It's all about making the system work better for everyone. My critical partner on this venture is Lean Agility Incorporated. Over a decade ago I reached out to the owner and founder Craig Szelestowski after seeing his contact info at the end of presentation deck he had done for the Conference Board of Canada. We connected, shared stories. I many ways, Craig and his team shaped my thinking - and in turn I like to think that I helped shape theirs. It's been a mutually beneficial meeting of the minds - and now we will begin to work together. In my consultancy, we're going to dive deep into the fundamentals and concepts that underpin Lean. We'll look for patterns that others might not see and apply Mental Models as a way to teach and inspire. But here's the twist – I'm all about those counterintuitive concepts that can disrupt the status quo. With my unique niche of delivering improvements for public sector teams using Lean, I'm confident that together, we can make a real difference. I'm here to help organizations navigate the sometimes choppy waters of change, using proven methods and fresh perspectives.
