Recruited to direct the implementation and stabalization of a dynamic facility maintenance program with an emphasis on preventive and predictive maintenance to enhance facility lifecycle. Leads and participates in the strategic planning to manage, operate and maintain the 3rd largest School District in Georgia overseeing 140 facilities, encompassing more than 14 million square feet and over $50 million managed volume. Directs the daily operations for programmed, preventive and corrective maintenance utilizing various IT platforms, databases and spreadsheets to monitor and adjust staff performance and resource utilization. Manages non-capital projects and collaborate with Planning and Construction department on capital projects. Responsible for local HR decisions involving diverse populations within an inclusive environment. Develops and implements local policies and procedures to continually promote safety, employee engagement, accountability and personal responsibility to achieve organizational goals.

Developed a fast response team to reduce contract cost for disaster restoration saving $150K in the first year. Redesigned the essential personnel concept to provide quicker and more complete after hours service response. Managed, directed and led ten (10) managers in the daily operations and maintenance, repairs and emergency response for over 12 million square feet of space, a staff of 130 frontline employees and budgets greater than $15 million managed volume. Interacted discerningly with a broad range of constituents from students to executive staff and capitalized on opportunities to offer emerging business and service solutions. Enhanced the preventive maintenance and retro-commissioning program that began reversing and reducing deferred maintenance. Increased systemes and equipment reliability through the reduction of backlogged workorders through incremental improvements to 25%.

Recruited and promoted to increase employee engagement to improve patient satisfaction scores and enhance the appearance of the facilities. Managed, directed and led three (3) Directors in facilities services and support functions in a 960 licensed beds, TJC Accreditied acute care health system encompassing over 2.5 million useable square feet; with staffs exceeding 300 FTEs and budgets greater than $14 million managed volume. Actively monitored budgets and implemented ardent financial management practices to control costs and produce measurable savings that contributed to the EBIT.Served as the contract administrator and capitalized on opportunities to secure a five year renewal.

Recruited and hired to advance the in-house Building Services program and preserve its viability. Managed facilities operations to maintain 6.2 million square feet in 43 buildings on 275 acres and 4 locations in Georgia (building/environmental services, maintenance, landscaping, campus services, special projects and sustainability initiatives). Executed $8 million operating budget with 160 personnel. Spearheaded the implementation of multi-channel sustainable program that advanced LEED compliance in maintenance and operations activities which delivered a measurable return and supported the organization’s dynamic strategic and master plan.
