Manage the quality control laboratory supporting manufacturing and stability of multiple protein therapeutic projects under cGMP. Perform analytical and formulation development of proteins and assist with quality assurance, regulatory, and preclinical/clinical operations.

During my eight year career at ICOS I worked on a variety of projects related to the formulation and analytical development of protein and small molecule therapeutics. I began with the company as a Research Associate I working in support of protein formulation development. Over time I progressed in rank while increasing my skills in HPLC methods development, ELISA, protein formulation development and stability and lyophilization development. Ultimately, I was promoted to the level of Technical Scientist and managed up to four research associates. Together we carried out the contract development of various stability-indicating analytical techniques, designed and executed pre-formulation and stress studies on prototype formulation candidates and performed multiple simultaneous real-time and accelerated stability studies delivering clients formulations for use in human clinical trials.
