Designed, built, and enhanced distributed system responsible for the orchestration of ordering, shipping, receiving, and billing of medical heart monitors to patients, as prescribed by doctors. The system was built with Asp.net front end, supported by C# and SQL Server backend.Notable projects/responsibilities:- designed and implemented asynchronous integration with a billing system using microservice architecture- instrumental in adding new features and refactoring code to improve system performance- upgraded asp.net mvc app to use emerging tech such as Blazer and GraphQL- upgraded backend to use entity framework and .net core

Built custom components and features for marketing asset platform using straight html and JavaScript, supported by C# and NoSql (redis/elsstic) in the backend.Notable projects include:- added custom search functionality to marketing asset dashboard for major drink company- added custom tracking/ reporting feature for major prescription company

Develop new features for SaaS application, which provides a cloud-based solution for clients to both calculate sales tax and generate returns. Provide assistance to customer support with data analysis, confirmation of application behavior, and adjustment of production data.Selected projects include:• Admin Portal: Upgraded and maintained C# and AngularJS application, used by Vertex support staff to view and update customer data. • Elastic Payload Parser: Created new utility to query application logs using ElasticSearch Rest API, strip out xml payloads from requests and response indices, and output results to files on disk• Transaction Replay Utility: Created new utility to put stress on our processing system, in effort to recreate production-level activity and assess results. Utility was later modified to also replay sanitized production transactions.

Develop, maintain, and upgrade message-based financial data aggregation software and supporting tools. Work as a member of a scrum team to groom and commit to projects in backlog. Use test driven development when modifying application and adding new features. Write documentation to support application additions and upgrades.Selected projects include:• Nexus: Upgraded and maintained C# financial data aggregation system, used to process data from many sources and publish the data to the flagship financial advisor software• Nexus Admin Tool: Upgraded and maintained internal tool written in ASP.net, used to view data aggregated from the Nexus, communicate with users, and update user subscriptions• Aggregation: Developed, upgraded, and maintained aggregation modules, used to get data by screen scraping financial institution websites, uploading data from flat files, or by using financial-institution-specific web services • New Hire Onboarding Program: Designed and implemented curriculum to teach new employees about domain terminology, Nexus API, class structures, and department best practices.

Develop and maintain applications at the request of USLI employees. Collaborated with stake holders to gather requirements, demo applications, and deploy completed projects.Selected projects include:• Accounting Reporting System: Designed and built database-driven application to generate reports for accounting department, using windows forms and API of report generating software• Feith Document Processor: Designed and built application used to electronically process insurance documents into Feith document database. Automated this process as well.• Support Desk: Worked with another intern to design and implement an MVC service desk application, used by IT to communicate with USLI employees about desktop support issues.
