Provided Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and data analysis support on multiple client and internal projects for a start-up non-profit organization providing open source software platforms to assist organizations with water-related decisions.Researched, built and coordinated open sharing of detailed GIS layers and maps for a complex agricultural land and water buffer feasibility project for Colorado Open Lands. Where private and public data was Identified and compiled from more than five educational and agency sources. Data Basin software was used to create and administer private group sharing to facilitate client access to all GIS data.Led research, evaluation and documentation of six viable database sharing platforms detailing capabilities, limitations, and user guidelines to assist a team of three in choosing the best solutions for future client projects.Planned, researched and created water quality time series data adding additional value and depth to the content available through the TSTool, a consolidated platform historically aggregating only water resource data. Established collection sites, gathered data and created plots to view and understand water quality data.Communicated daily with internal and external partners, including the Foundation Director, GIS Engineers and client partners to understand data needs and share project updates.

Assisted team of six planning, setting up and improving three anaerobic digestion projects at the Foothills Campus of Colorado State University (CSU) – gathered and installed equipment and established lab procedures.Oversaw sampling, data collection, analysis and reporting for 12 weeks during the spring semester testing TS/VS, COD/TOC, dissolved solids, nitrogen/phosphorus and biochemical methane potential.Trained two assistants on lab procedures, equipment and project expectations.

Collaborated with a team of five on a year-long civil/environmental engineering senior project designing and recommending a plan to address significant erosion and flooding concerns across a quarter-mile section of Mail Creek Stream located within a residential area.Assisted in researching, building and presenting a professional engineering work proposal recommending three preliminary designs – contributed significantly to defining the history, scope of work and projected project costs.Co-presented final design to senior engineers informing actual project scheduled for completion by 2017 – personally led research and redesign of a three-foot drop structure recommending two natural riffle pool designs utilizing existing resources.Awarded 2nd place out of 40 civil engineering projects at CSU’s annual E-Days event.

Independently operated a forklift moving and organizing over 5000 SKUs throughout a two-acre yard – located and loaded product for up to 15 customers daily, including construction companies, municipalities and private businesses.Proactively organized the yard improving the efficiency and accuracy of over $100,000 in inventory.Reviewed over 20 bids and blueprints monthly with the Sales Director identifying all steel and galvanized iron products required for a variety of projects valued up to $100K – reviewed final engineering specs ensuring proper product selection and costing.
