  Christopher Jeffreys, Investment Director (Chartered FCSI). Christopher Jeffreys started his career in the City of London as a commodity futures broker in the late 1970s, before joining stock-broker Raphael Zorn in 1992. Since then stock-broking has evolved into Investment Management, and Christopher continues to provide a personal Investment Management Service for the investment portfolios of private clients and their families; personal investments might also include ‘wrappers’ such as ISAs, JISAs, SIPPs, offshore bonds, and more widely Trust and Charity investment portfolios.Over time investment markets have experienced significant variations in economic conditions and consequent volatility, however Christopher has used his experience to manage portfolios typically into longer term equity investment (either directly into quoted shares, or via collective investment funds, or a combination of the two). Fixed income and ‘alternative‘ investments are then deployed as diversifiers when appropriate in order to mitigate short term changes in ‘market’ conditions, or exposure to longer term investment risk.
