I founded Christows Ltd as a private client stockbroker and built it into a wealth manager, fund manager and corporate finance firm through a mixture of organic growth and buy and build. The company reversed into an AIM listed shell late in 2000 and I left to pursue other interests early in 2001. Since I left the business it subsequently became the retail arm of the Evolution Group and is now a part of the retail operations of Investec.
