In this role, I had total responsibility for the sales operations of our customer service (250-300 employees), which included additional sales to our existing customers, new customer sales and retention of customers who wanted to reduce their current service package or cancel their new subscription to our services.

As Sales Quality Project Manager, I took on a project management role where I became responsible for the development and follow up in regards to quality within all of Viasat's sales channels. The role was newly created with the goal of improving the quality of Viasat's sales, as well as improving Viasat's retention of both new and existing customers. The work included both internal business development and the development of our external partners, such as our contracted sales agencies and customer service.

As I took the role as head of the inhouse sales department, I took ownership of the department as a whole, including budgeting, recruitment, performance monitoring, staff administration, training etc. My responsibilities shifted slightly from being primarily operational to being more administrative, as focus shifted to the strategic long-term business and sales development of the department while being in line with Viasat's overall goals and objectives. The department had an average of 30-35 employees of which I was responsible.

My work further evolved with responsibilities of staff recruitment, development of respective team leaders and their teams, overall management and follow-up for all sales productions, and more strategic and long-term development of the sales department.

Worked as sales coach for two projects: Sales of Viasat's TV platform to new customers, and Viasat's TV offering to Com Hem's existing customers. In the role, I was responsible for two different teams, with 10-24 sales people. The day-to-day work included planning, directing, monitoring and developing sales, both at an individual, team and department level.
