I have a great passion for my profession and the highest regard for customer service excellence. My industry experience spans sixteen years, my foundational years were as a junior draughtsman at South African Dust and Air Control (SADAC), our main client base fell under the mining, chemical, tobacco, and forestry industries, whereby we designed extraction units to client specification. I was part of the team that went to site and oversaw the installation of the product with the director of the company. I then moved onto Productive Transmissions which was a very hands-on position, whereby I physically assembled the gearboxes for the earth-moving equipment, I was part of the team to meet with clients and assisted with installations. After my time at Productive Transmissions, I moved onto the Power Quality Company and mainly done designs for lightning protection in the mining industry and smelting plants, this position also called on the initial meeting with our clients and designing the product to the job specification, I was part of the team that worked from concept to installation. I then moved to Kwa-Zulu Natal and started at Fontana Manufacturers, in this position however I have not had much direct contact with the client, and I receive directive from the sales team on job specifications. Over the last few years, I have also received my certificate in Architectural Draughting, and have on a per-project basis worked with an Architect meeting with clients, measuring up the site and working through from conception to build. I have kept in contact with previous employers and have over the years assisted on projects on a per-project basis working remotely. I have matric with maths and technical drawing, I am MS Office competent, I am fluent in English and Afrikaans, I have worked across various sectors, and I have further knowledge of the electrical industry too. As a Draughtsman, I do have a mechanical and technical aptitude, and I can read drawings. I listen to client requirements and aim to provide the best service and product. who is willing to learn new skills.I pride myself on my communication and time management skills, and my ability to work within pressure driven deadlines. I'm creative, reliable, loyal, and hardworking, I'm also keen to keep my learn new things.
