Chris Johnson is a Principal at Corgan and is the Director of Technical Design Services (TDS), whose primary focus is quality control at Corgan. TDS evaluates products, materials, and architectural systems for incorporation into Corgan's designs; prepares project manuals and technical specifications for all Corgan projects; and reviews outgoing construction document sets for QA/QC. Chris was an architect and a project manager for many years with Corgan before becoming the Director of TDS. As a project manager, he led the design effort on the Bedford Springs Resort in Bedford, PA – which is the only Corgan project ever to receive a Large Project of the Year Award from the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Chris feels very strongly that anything worth doing is worth doing well. By specifying proven construction materials and quality workmanship requirements, he endeavors to hold Corgan's construction partners to the same high level of performance we hold ourselves. Chris is a member of AIA Dallas BEC (Building Enclosure Council), and the Dallas Chapter of CSI (Construction Specifications Institute). Internally at Corgan, he is the Chairperson of the Practice Committee and sits on the Corgan College Board of Regents.
