As a Digital Strategist, I worked with the DE member base and other companies, developing their Online Recruitment Marketing Strategy, with the end-goal of helping them develop an improved online recruiting and marketing strategy. This is a combination of reviewing their SEO strategy, online footprint and reviewing how we can improve their overall candidate experience.

During this period, I had the pleasure of working with several businesses, all smaller, but looking to grow, and further cement their market shares in their respective businesses. Worked in the capacity of a marketing company with several companies in multiple industries, including; home healthcare, healthcare retail, mall/retail properties, daycare/preschool and home inspection), providing them with their marketing and advertising strategies, in lieu of having their own internal marketing or advertising professionals. My responsibilities with each of these companies varied. I provided promotional and material production, generated public relations content, acted as a media buyer and developed promotional strategies.

Lexington, Kentucky Area

While serving in the role of RMM, I worked directly with approximately half of Fazoli's (175 restaurants), both company and franchise owned, to help them develop their market share within their respective markets. This included helping them implement both company wide strategies, and more localized efforts, specific to their individual challenges, competitor outlook, etc. I also oversaw their budget, implemented the production and creation of marketing collateral and helped them to determine the ROI of efforts.

Cincinnati, Ohio Area

During my time with Buddy's, I oversaw all aspects of their marketing efforts. This included the development of all promotions and promotional time-lines, media buying and review, public relations and ROI review. In addition, I acted as a project manager, overseeing the development of their website, which was designed to highlight the retail properties, act as a de facto sales platform and drive overall brand awareness. I lead the development and day-to-day management of a consumer satisfaction division, designed to insure post-purchase customer satisfaction, analyze how Buddy's could improve the overall shopping experience, including installation, performed by independent contractors and more. And finally, I was instrumental in the creation of a shop-at-home division, allowing Buddy's to expand their market share, and compete in an arena that was rapidly growing within the carpet and flooring industry. Managed two separate staffs, totally 7 people. One full-time, and one part-time staff member for our marketing department and five staff members focused on the consumer relations department.

Milford, Oh.

In my time with The HomeTeam Inspection service, my primary focus was on working with franchise owners to help them develop their local marketing efforts. This required me to provide strategies for new franchises looking to develop a new brand within their market, and for more established franchise owners striving to develop a larger market share in the home inspection industry. Achieving this was a combination of spear-heading marketing efforts, as well as training these owners in grass root techniques. I also oversaw a small staff within the marketing department, controlled inventory of marketing collateral and oversaw the franchise marketing budget.

Chillicothe, Ohio

My time with Horizon PCS represented my first experience in media buying, as I was the planner and buyer for all Sprint PCS media in all Horizon controlled markets, spread across 8 states and 24 individual markets. Additionally, oversaw the creation of content, above and beyond standard branding provided by Sprint and local, grass roots events, as needed.

Waverly, Ohio

During my time with The Advertiser, I was the account rep for approximately 150 businesses within the local community. I provided companies the opportunity to advertising in a wide array of print components ranging from a weekly shopper to seasonal magazine-style publications. Additionally, I performed ad layouts for most of these businesses, as they little-to-no branding support.

Mason, Oh

My time with FrontGate started as a summer job, in college, as an order entry representative. I had the opportunity to become intimately familiar with the entire catalog of products, and work with customers on both orders, and issues they may have had with products or order issues. I transitioned this into a PR coordinator role after college, where I was splitting time in the order entry role, and providing PR services, including press releases, preparing publicity information and providing additional PR relevant material, highlighting who FrontGate is, and its history, within the catalog.
