The day-to-day running of a Domiciliary Service covering Lancaster & Morecambe, currently covering 1000 hours of care per week with 45 staff supporting clients in their own home Ensuring that the services delivered meet the standards set by the Care Quality Commission and four local authorities who we hold contracts with to deliver a quality service which aims to meet the needs of the individuals. Provide out of hours on call support Ensuring that the needs of service users are fully met, liaise with families ,professionals, Responsible for recruitment to meet the needs of the business. Supporting staff with supervisions, annual appraisals,monitorng staff sickness/absences Dealing with disciplinaries and grievances, safeguarding, complaints and compliments Ensuring that staff receive appropriate training, support and development needed to fulfill the job role with a good longstanding staff retentiom Liaise with other professionals in meetings and correspondence.

Responsible for Over 160 care staff & 16 Administration staff Overall responsibility for all branch Activities and Managing Service Provision.Managing Finance and Administration Duties.All Staff Management requirements.i.e Supervisions , Appraisals ,Administrative Systems , Training needs and establishing effective working relationships.Managing Service User Interventions i.e Assessment Planning , service visits and ensuring an efficient and high standard of service to all users.Interviewing procedures and ensuring that all relevant security checks are completed prior to employment commencing and that all references have been received.Ensuring we have strong liasons with Local Authorities i.e local and County Councils and potential clients from the Private sector.Responsibility for Carer monitoring , Liason with NVQ officers and organising training updates and attendance on courses adhering to the criteria as laid out by our Governing body CQC.To be aware of Employment law and Legislation and monitor and act upon receipt of any complaints .Actively involved with Tenders with Local Councils to obtain further Hours covering our area.To have responsibility for the storing of confidential records of both Service users and carers and maintain and update these wherever necessary.To oversee all Staff performance and ensure that all Service Users Care needs are met and to maintain the quality of the services we provide in line with CQC Guidelines.Ensuring that all health & Safety requirements for both onsite and off site are covered.

Immediate responsibility for all transport requirements , Planning , routes ,Drivers Ministry records , despatch and distribution criteria . Vehicle maintenance & contracts.Training,Induction and disciplinary control of all staff.Health & Safety responsibilities.Interviewing prospective candidates.Budgetary control and cost effectiveness.stock figure accuracy. Full site responsibiltie.Responsible for warehouse/driving staff of 25+ employees.All warehousing functions and KPI’s. Liason with customers and 3rd parties.all purchases relevant to the business e.g Fork Lift Trucks,HGV vehicles,Company cars,heavy/light machinery, raw product , sourcing new suppliers , credit checks and supplier evaluation and monitoring.Budgetary control and cost effectiveness .Maximise efficient use of all resources available. Improvement of Customer service and satisfaction levelsNegotiate costs, deliveries , stock levels etc with suppliers including plastics,Cardboard,chemicals, adhesives and fuel .

Immediate responsibility for all transport requirements both UK and European.liason/negotiations with all service providers from Office supplies to Plant & equipment,health & Safety responsibilities.Running of modern Fleet of HGV vehiclesTraining,Induction and disciplinary control of all staff.Monitoring of stock systems and controls.Route planning ,vehicle maintenance & contractsAppointment systems & liason with major clients to ensure completion of orders & deliveries. Interviewing prospective candidates.Budgetary control and cost effectivenessstock figure accuracy.liason with Customs and other port authorities.
