I provide writing and consulting services to publishing companies. I wrote chapters for Cengage/National Geographic's World Cultures and Geography. I also managed the development of the Global Issues series published by Cengage/National Geographic in 2013. I wrote World History chapters for Teachers Curriculum Institute. In addition to this educational work, I write articles and books on environmental issues. I am the co-author of the book "Forests for the People: The Story of America's Eastern National Forests," which examines the history and current challenges facing the national forests in the East, South, and Midwest. The book was published in 2013 by Island Press, an environmental publisher in Washington, D.C.
