Responsibilities included leading the planning, scheduling and directing of the operation, maintenance, repair and calibration of equipment, instrumentation/controls, processes and support systems of an industrial manufacturing process wastewater treatment facility at the Dupont-Spruance Plant. Act as the primary procurement specialist to fulfill supply and material requirements for the project through the DuPont SAP system. Assist the Project Manager in budgeting and estimating cost and time for all aspects of repairs or replacements. Manage tracking and completion of the maintenance department’s preventive, corrective, inspection and safety work ordersRead, interpret and perform tasks from blueprints, drawings, sketches, plans, specifications, and mechanical illustrations.Develop operations, maintenance and safety operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain all safety, operations, and maintenance records to ensure compliance with the VPDES permit.Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes in process equipment, inspection of drive couplings, lubrication of bearings, adjustment/replacement of drive belts.Work with equipment manufacturers to determine equipment installation needs, preventive maintenance requirements and insure that all warranties are maintained.Process Safety Management element leader for Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Process Technology.
