As a Project Manager and Team Lead Instructor for Topsarge Business Solutions (TBS), I manage the Contract Instructors who work on the Protective Security Officer (PSO) Instructor Contract and ensure all requirements are met in accordance with the contract Statement of Work which outlines the services required to fulfill the contract and the expectations of the Contract Instructors. I act as the primary point of contact for the Federal Protective Service (FPS) Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and the FPS TPD Protective Security Officer Development and Training Oversight Branch Chief who are the primary stakeholders for the contract. Along with my team of contract instructors and FPS Inspectors, I instruct multiple federal law enforcement training programs including the National Weapons Detection raining Program (NWDTP), a program designed to instruct Protective Security Officers (PSO) in proper security screening operations at federal facilities utilizing security screening equipment including X-ray machines, Walk-through metal detectors, and hand-held metal detectors.

As a Fire Controlman on board USS Ross I trouble shoot Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System and Harpoon Weapons System casualties down to a component level correcting significant system casualties ranging from CRT monitor replacements to media converters down to circuit card level repairs. I supervise the work centers for two weapons systems (Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System and Harpoon Weapons System), scheduling maintenance and overseeing casualty correction as necessary. I assist in managing 12 sailors as Assistant Lead Petty Officer for Combat Missiles division. As an ammunition handler/ team leader I participate in large ammunition handling evolutions to include five different types of missiles and ammunition ranging from 5 inch/.54 caliber rounds down to small arms ammunition.
