Developed a machine learning code that uses denseNet103 semantic segmentation to imitate manual mesh management strategies for multi-physics HYDRA simulations of National Ignition Facility inertial confinement fusion experiments.

CMB instrumentation Readout R&D.Developed the Chebyshev SQUID (Superconducting Quantum Interference Device) Tuning Algorithm to provide a more accurate and ~40-50% faster SQUID tuning pipeline.

Developed hands-on activity series “Building Math Structures” and “Photography and Mathematics” to introduce club members to a visual understanding of trigonometry. Developed “AMATYC Jeopardy” college activity to prepare students for the national AMATYC mathematics contest. Organized a trip to the California Mathematics Council Community Colleges Spring 2018 Conference with a record number of participants. Participated in the organization and promotion the Las Positas College mathematics public lecture “A Child’s Garden of Graphs” given by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory scientist Van Edmon Henson, Ph.D.

Served as a physics, mathematics, and chemistry tutor for individual and group (up to 5-person) sessions. Prepared problem sets customized to individual students’ needs.
