I joined CrossEngage as a Junior Copywriter in 2019. After a year's experience working for the startup, my title changed to Copywriter and Social Media Manager to better reflect my evolving role at the company. My tasks included:- Writing long-form blog posts - Writing social media copy- Managing CrossEngage's social media channels- Writing copy for a variety of emails (newsletters, product announcements, events, etc)- Writing copy for the Heroes of CRM Conference - Writing copy (and doing voiceovers!) for online advertisements- Editing and writing in-app copy- Creating and editing site copy- Working closely with our designers for all of the above- Creating subtitles for videos- Translating long-form copy (German to English using the DeepL tool)- SEO for our site and blog posts- Discussing and finalising our strategy, substance, tone of voice, and more with my team lead

My job involved:- Planning, organising and hosting events, both as the sole manager of events and within a team- Opening, closing and running the shop as the Active Manager- Working under pressure with a dedicated bookselling team, involving delegation, quick adaptability to difficult situations and efficiently following orders - Developing expert knowledge about books and using it to support exceptional customer serviceMy most notable achievements:- Three well attended, profitable events were organised and hosted by me without a team and with minimal training. This involved correspondence with publishers, social media and in-store promotion and, on one occasion, chairing the talk.- In my Bookselling role I built excellent relations with my team as well as with customers, many of which are regulars and who request my personal expertise and service. - I was given the role of Active Manager in less than a year due to my excellent organisation, ability to learn quickly, ability to delegate and my stellar customer service.
