Hello!To those reading, thank you for your interest and taking the time to review my application. I began working in the service industry in 2005 as busser at a local restaurant. I truly did begin my experience with customer service there. At the age of 14, this was just a summer job, but it was also my first opportunity to prove myself and show what kind of dedication I would commit to for the rest of my life. I took it very seriously, and I certainly felt very proud of myself when I was constantly being told how good of a job I had been doing. From there it was on to a grocery store, again focus in customer service. For me, the interaction with so many different people really helped me develop an idea of how people think, and the best ways to communicate effectively. I applied these skills with my next job, selling technology and service plans at Office Depot. I started there in 2007, held through my graduation and eventually I moved on, and literally to another state, in 2013, making the move from Baltimore, MD to Midway, UT. In Utah I began work again in the service industry, as a server and bartender. I have had so many different experiences with customers through my many years in the restaurant business, from 2013 I worked in Park City for various restaurant and catering businesses until the 2020 Pandemic shook the industry, forcing me to consider a new role. In July of 2020, I began working with a Mortgage Broker in Park City, UT. At Intermountain Mortgage Company, training under a Senior Loan Officer until I eventually went out on my own with consumer lending in August of 2022. During my time at Mountain America Credit Union, I discovered that I had an interest in pursuing a different career path, and to do so in a location to was closer to my family. I am the type of worker that enjoys learning how to do as many different jobs at any given location as I possibly can, and excel at them. I was successful, I received many acknowledgements and promotions while working as a team leader, lending my skills and abilities to others when needed. I find that leading by example is a very effective way to build moral and improve overall performance. I have always strived to be the most useful and available employee, assuring that if any task needs to be done, it will be. With my toolbet of skills and experience, I know that I will provide everyone with an excellent environment for growth and success. Thank you again for your time!
