Since I was just a child the arts have been a crucial part of my life. My humble beginnings as an actor in my high school plays led to a career as a performing artist and director. Although my childhood dreams of becoming a Broadway actor have shifted, my passion and commitment to the arts has certainly not. After working for several years as theater practitioner, my desire to produce, promote, and protect the arts has become the focal point of my professional life. I work both as an arts advocate and arts integrations specialist promoting public investment in the arts and ensuring every child has an arts rich education. I focus on issues and areas that I truly care about whether it is advocating on behalf of a robust arts landscape or providing education to young people using the arts as my primary vehicle. I love to learn as much as I love to educate, and these principles have become my guideposts as I approach my ability to serve the organizations I work with. The arts make our communities stronger and building a stronger community is what inspires me every day. I thrive in rapidly growing organizations that are hungry to change the world for the better. My passion for my work is matched by my love for what I get to do off the clock, which mostly includes spending time with my wonderful family and large dog Gatsby and continuing my education in any positive way I can.
