Equipment Engineer
CurrentEquipment Engineer• Assign as an Supervisor for Equipment Technician• Initiate in equipment improvements thru MCR and EPR• Develop preventive maintenance procedures to reduce equipment failures.• Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements. • Act as primary contact for equipment performance related questions and concerns.• Maintain documentations for equipment installation, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures for reference purposes. • Provide 24x7 supports for troubleshooting equipment. • In charge of SPC (Statistical Process Control) focal of Equipment concerns and other Machine performance activity such as PR of spare, reporting of tool issues and safety audits• Handle Equipment Engineering Sustaining Technician• Plan daily activity for Equipment Sustaining Team to support manufacturing line to ensure on time delivery of the product• Knowledge in 8D, FMEA and Tool Lockdown• Responsible to carry out PM instruction, activities and strategies written in Preventive Maintenance (PM) Specification• Request immediate PR for spare parts needed, known defective during PM without spare and all other needed spare part on equipment held in conformance to document no.• Provide technical assistance in installation and maintenance of company equipment• Perform equipment upgrades as per customer requirements.• Analyze equipment malfunctions and failures and accordingly develop corrective actions• Develop improvements to enhance equipment reliability and scalability• Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements• Work with management to develop equipment specifications for next generation products• Test and approve new equipment before handing off to production.• Develop cost-reduction initiatives while still maintaining quality and productivity.• Participating in some R&D functions.
