I have been writing code since I was 10 years old. At first, it was through simple drag-and-drop interfaces, but slowly I learned how the programs worked on a deeper level. After about a year, I was writing code in HTML and Javascript, and I was somewhat familiar with Visual Basic and the .Net framework. Today, I have advanced programming skills in countless programming languages and am hoping to learn more. Contact me for samples of my personal projects.I have experience working with websites and back-end web server programming. I have worked for the Contra Costa Association of Realtors both as an intern and as a paid web consultant. I have also worked at Contra Costa Sheriff's Office as an intern doing web development and database management.I attend Missouri University of Science and Technology for Computer Engineering and Computer Science. I am enrolled in their Honors program. Additionally, I was a lead in ACM's SIG-Game, a club which creates games designed for AIs to play.During my free time, I enjoy programming and looking at other people's programs or algorithms to learn from them. I especially enjoy programming games because of all the different parts needed to make the game work (custom GUI code, a game tick loop, multithreading, optimization, saving data, handling inputs, rendering the game, etc.). As the game comes together, I enjoy playing it with my friends.My other hobbies are playing my trombone and the card game Magic: The Gathering.- Chris Kinney
