The prolific designer of all time, Dieter Rams set out to include 10 qualities of good design back in the 1980's. These qualities are timeless and should be the focus of all industrial design engineers mantra.Good design is innovative and makes a product useful, is aesthetic, makes a product understandable, is unobtrusive, is honest, long-lasting, thorough, down to the last detail, is environmentally-friendly, and has as little design as possible.I am told by clients and associates I follow these principles rather closely while fulfilling design projects. To that end I pride myself in working quickly and thoroughly with state-of-the-art design software and prototyping methods, producing perfectly thought-out solutions for the client. If they are happy I am ecstatic!
