Wholesale Distributor • I oversaw supplier relations with vendors in India & Brazil, performed all product purchasing and inspection, shared in all general management responsibilities. Ultimately, due to other responsibilities, I sold my shares in the business.

Represented a number of quality factories from Italy, Brazil, China and India, supplying containers of slabs to distributors throughout the eastern half of the United States. Traveled extensively inspecting material for clients.

• Oversaw all strategic sales & marketing activity, hired & managed sales force, was responsible for marketing launch of start up company. Achieved breakeven sales volume within 6 months of start of production. Company ulitmately failed due to insufficient capitalization.

• First to hold this position, created a professional sales department, with a complete sales management system and full sales tools.• Average sales growth during tenure was over 25% per annum. • Created “Super Distributor” program that was model for company customer relationships for years to come. • Responsible for sales launch of Limestone & Tumbled Marble (first to do so in the East) with extensive training programs, newsletters and promotion, making it the industry standard.
