I completed my Bachelors in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Louisiana State University in 2020.I have taken several additional classes regarding computer vision, autonomous vehicles, and electromagnetism.I have completed several school and personal projects that I am proud to have documented and tested.School projects include:4-bit serial-in-parallel-out shift register using CMOS designs in VLSISenior Design project which aimed to reproduce synesthesia by relating audio frequencies with certain colors. I programmed the communications and FFT functionality using Python on a Raspberry Pi. When the audio frequencies were found by using FFT they were matched with a certain pattern of RGB which was then sent to a matrix of RGB LEDs. When a picture was taken a vision processing algorithm was ran to detect the shapes and the color they were, which was then matched a sinusoidal frequency that I programmed to play through a class-D amplifier to a speaker.Personal projects include:Augmented Reality Stream which is an OpenCV based project programmed in Python on a Raspberry Pi for image processing, as well as implementing a TCP client and server for communication. A 7-inch LCD screen is fixed to a headset for viewing, while the RPi and PiCamera are attached to the backside of the screen in order to take live video for the user to see their surroundings. When a QR code is detected the RPi detects and decodes the information from the QR code and sends it to the server, the server then sends/streams image/video information to the RPi which then overlays that information where the QR code is located.Backup Battery Supply Circuit I developed and simulated in PSPICE using a CMOS inverter to detect power disconnection and then supply power from a battery. A capacitance is added in order to maintain power during CMOS switching. I laid out the circuit in Eagle PCB and successfully tested the circuit on a Raspberry Pi, which is notorious for losing power and corrupting SD cards.
