Having recently graduated Master of Professional Engineering at the University of Western Australia majoring in Mechanical Engineering I have commenced a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering working in bio-medical engineering sector at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research in NedlandsI specialize in design and manufacture of custom solutions for research and development purposes. I am proficient in Solidworks and other CAD / CAM software, I have built two telescope control systems, one for the Gravity Discovery Center. I am proficient in circuit design and manufacture as well as programming (C, C++, MATLAB, Python). I am part of the UWA Makers group and have been part of the group since its founding in 2016. I am building 6 custom CORE-XY 3D printers for students to use and to assist in the teaching of units. I have helped the club run events from soldering workshops to sausage sizzles. I currently work as a research assistant, I have built numerous systems for them to increase the reliability and speed of the research. I am also currently working with Melt Electro Writing (MEW) 3D printers one of which I am built for my final year project.
