I am an educator with eight years of teaching experience. I hold two master's degrees and an Instruction 1 Certification for English grades 7-12. I have taught since 2015. I taught a variety of religion and scripture courses to freshmen and seniors at Archbishop Ryan High School in Philadelphia for 3 years. I was the founder and moderator for the school's branch of Athletes Helping Athletes, served on the Middle States Accreditation Planning Committee, and assisted in marketing and recruitment efforts as well as social media upkeep for the school.I have taught at Innovative Arts Academy, a charter school in Cattasaqua for the last five years. I have taught a variety of Literature and English Language Arts classes to students in every grade from 6th through 12th, the majority of which were High School classes. I have served as Grade Level Lead Teacher, a mentor to new teachers, and a classroom technology resource. I have implemented a variety of classroom technologies throughout my years as an educator. I am experienced with educational learning platforms such as Schoology, PowerSchool, and Google Classroom. I have extensive knowledge of classroom technologies including Google Docs, Quizizz, Kahoot, PearDeck, NoRedInk, Lightspeed Web Monitoring, Jamboard, Canva, and numerous others. I am skilled at working with Special Education teachers to develop and implement IEPs. I have worked extensively with ELL students. Before working as an educator I was engaged in ministry where I received extensive training in conflict resolution, counseling, and leadership.
