Build relationships with businesses and distributors; help distributors increase sales and add new lines and items; hold sales meetings with distributors, local businesses and company employees; attend local foodservice shows; represent 36 foodservice and non-food service manufacturers

• Maintain and develop portfolio of priority and assigned accounts• Develop sales plan to achieve assigned objectives and initiatives• Prepare and conduct food shows and sales events with operators and distributors• Maintain and develop client sales at PFS Metro; serve as primary point of contact for represented clients• Introduce new products and product lines to distributors; support distributors by meeting with multi-unit accounts, independent operators, health care facilities, private schools, camps, etc., to sample products, advise of product launches, incentives, rebates and provide supporting information; follow up on closed deals to ensure satisfaction• Provide input on marketing program• Train distributors and their sales team by creating presentations and delivering culinary concepts during sales meetings• Participate in food shows, supporting multiple manufacturers • Build rapport through personal attention with distributor, as well as with existing and potential customers• Meet sales objectives on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis to ensure profit objectives are achieved • Manage a geographical territory in the New York metro area
