My role consists of communicating with engineers and project managers and providing an accurate representation of a building or civil engineering project according to the architectural plans.BIM Technician Responsibilities:- Meeting/Liaising with design teams and other professionals.- Assisting Engineers and Architects with drawing production.- Production of structural models, drawings and schedules using SketchUp, Revit and BIM.- Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines design changes and model challenges.- Make sure all documents are accurate.- Work as part of a BIM/CAD support team to achieve consistent results.- Produce drawing sets for a professional team and participate in design reviews where necessary.

As a survey technician I provided Utility, Ground probing radar and topographical surveys to clients across all sectors in a 3D deliverable format.Survey Technician Responsibilities:- Primary point of contact between clients and contractors- Order utility statistics for the specified job- Organise risk assessment and work method statement- Coordinate traffic Management plans and plan work time frame and work area- Conduct full electromagnetic survey and process data into a 3D model- QC final drawing and deliver to client in 3D format

Utility Mapping holds major contracts across the country such as the gold coast light rail, Kingsford smith drive upgrade Brisbane, Sandstone building upgrade Sydney etc. My role as a surveyor consisted of organising business management systems, conducting full surveys and processing field data from 2D in to 3D deliverable format.Survey Technician Responsibilities:- Transfer topographical base survey into DWG format- Order utility statistics for the job- Organise Risk assessment and work method statement ready for our client- Conduct full electromagnetic survey and process data into a 3D model- QC final drawing and deliver to client in 3D format
