Chris is a designer/programmer currently working in Brisbane with a rich history in team management and client service roles. Hospitality & tourism experience in leading small and large teams, managing budgets and delivering on client needs to an extremely high standard. Chris is looking to leverage his technology and coding skills to make a positive social impact through immersive digital experiences.This year he is due to complete a bachelor’s degree at the Queensland University of Technology in Games & Interactive Environments, majoring in Software Technologies and completing minors in Game Design and Interaction Design. He is experienced with Unity and Unreal Engine, as well as knowledgeable in C#, Python, SQL, Maya, 3DS Max, HTML & CSS and has a 6+ GPA.He is passionate about the interactions between humans and technology as well as gamification and immersive storytelling/environments. Drawing on his experiences growing up in QLD as a proud Iman First Nations man and spending many years on the Aṉangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands at Uluru, Chris seeks out ways to share his culture through modern technology and bridge the diversity gap in the digital era.Chris is self-motivated and while studying he participates regularly in extra-curricular activities such as Extended Reality (XR) events, QUT design club events, working as a student advisor at the QUT Oodgeroo Unit and interning with AECOM as an undergraduate software development manager.
