The Role was a continuation from ETF Securities (UK) Ltd. WisdomTree acquired the business in April 2018.

Responsible for managing and maintaining an enterprise level infrastructure spanning multi-geographical and jurisdiction locations. Infrastructure consisted of a mix of virtualised, cloud and hardware-based servers, within a highly regulated business that had assets under management valued between 18 and 32 billion. Created all documentation to meet both our audit and regulatory requirements. This included a robust Business Continuity Plan, detailed workflows, procedures and creating a Cybersecurity framework and policy using NIST. Managing a small infrastructure Team and 3rd party support providers. Managing 3rd party contracts, complex licencing and hardware maintenance. This included tendering, contract renewal, reviewing legal contracts and terminating. Writing and preparing all business cases for Infrastructure projects which are presented to the senior management team for approval. Preparing roadmaps with short term and long-term goals for the infrastructure and future projects. Preparing large value annual budgets with responsibility for spend against. Writing monthly cybersecurity reports that was used in the board packs for the company board meetings. Carrying out regular business continuity testing with detailed reporting. Detailed project work carried out including writing project plans and case statements included: Migrating 5 separate companies from a centralised infrastructure to individual company networks due to the sale of the business. Migration of large on-premise Exchange server (DAG, edge servers, 2TB mail) to office 365. Rebuilding the network and implementing enterprise class systems, migrating WisdomTree staff and data from previous office to ETF Securities infrastructure, identifying and decommissioning servers and services no longer required, decommissioning WisdomTree UK old office.

Continuation from my Medialink role, when World Television acquired Meidalink’s assets and kept me on as a staff member. Provided 1st to 3rd line support including network migration and client migration. Managing a small team. Provided work reviews, guidance. Planning, project managing and implementing an office move. Included finding suitable premises, Obtaining contractors, Project managing contractors for building fit out, controlling budgets, Making sure the business could move successfully upon move date. Moving all IT and Telecoms systems. Responsible for UK contracts, tendering, contacts, UK annual budgets, responsible for spend against.

1st to 3rd line support for the UK office and 3rd line support for the US offices. UK and US Network migration, included designing and specifying the network, procuring hardware, licences and internet connectivity. Domain spanned multiple sites across the US. Planning and implementing an office move. Included obtaining contractors, Project managing contractors for building fit out, controlling budgets. Moving IT and telecoms systems. Developed a complex, bespoke, cost management system that tracked real time lost revenue and lost profit. Project managing the application life-cycle from design to deployment, with developers both in the UK and Europe. Looking at all business processes within the organisation, translating both processes and user requirements and encapsulating these into a work flow and user case statements. Testing all aspects of the system.

Providing 1st to 3rd line support. Designed and implemented Client and Network migration included email and domain. Wrote IT policy and procedures. Wrote courseware and provided classroom training to all staff on in-house housing management suite developed in .net by a development team.
