It is my responsability to organise the set up of gala dinners, fundraising and corporate days, weddings and funeral dinners. That means I have had to addapt my role from working in the restaurant to working in marquees and church halls. Show less

I was responsible for daily operations of the drilling rig and transporting the rig from the office to the site it has been working at. I managed my colleagues to ensure the proper running of the rig, I would meet with the engineer on site and get details of what is required to be completed by the client. This would range from taking soil samples at various dephts, to installing monitoring wells. There were times when no engineer was present and I would have to fallow site maps, write reports… Show more I was responsible for daily operations of the drilling rig and transporting the rig from the office to the site it has been working at. With sites located throughout Northern Ireland and Ireland, I was responsible for the supply of materials and equipment ( enough for the lenth of the job) and finding accomodation for myself and coleagues. The rig I was responsible for was the Geoprobe 6620DT and I ran this rig for three years in all sorts of ground. We adapted dando terrier samplers and casing to be used by the Geoprobe for larger samples when they were required. I have also ran Dando terriers and worked on shell and auger rigs and rotary rigs when needed. Show less
