Tullamarine And Avalon

Started work at Tullamarine airport Crown casino hangar which had been sub-let to the Airforce to rebuild the 4 Tactical Air Defence Radar System cabins where I was contracted to assist with the rewiring of the communications waterfall in all four cabins due to my previous telecommunications experience this was highly advantageous, after the fourth cabin was completed a select number of staff were offered positions at a Tennix Defence facility located at Avalon airport where I worked closely with Ratheon and the airforce to assist with the completion of the AP3C Orion avionics and airframe upgrade in this time I studied on site and at TAFE to acheive my certificate 4 in avionics.Wide Knowledge of Mil-Spec and DB type connectors, also experienced in a wide variety of termination methods used. The manufacture and installation of cable looms are all done to relevant EMI and Tempest standards.Experienced in many types of cables used by the military and aviation industry also experienced in the routing and placement of cables and equipment in high impact & high risk areas.Worked with design and implementation methods eg: Work orders, structural and electrical drawings, engineering change orders & other types of methods used by the commonwealth.Experienced in the implementation of a fully recognised quality system to aviation standard.
