I have served in the Royal Engineers for the last 14 1/2 years as a Digital Communications Specialist or radio operator (end user). I have a expert knowledge and experience when it comes to VHF, HF, UHF radios utilising data communications, GPS and Airwave radios for battlefield operations. Expertise in fault finding, conducting L1 maintenance of BOWMAN equipment and auditing of stock whilst being responsible of thousands of pounds worth of military equipment.I have been a junior team leader as well as a team leader responsible for the mentorship of a small team of technicians, guiding them whilst ensuring that the highest standards of performance, safety and professionalism is kept.I have strong communication skills both verbal and written from communicating information to a team or to senior management. I'm very reliable, have excellent time keeping, punctual, honest whilst remaining flexible with a willingness to learn and grow as an individual and to grow as a valid team member.I have multiple diplomas and certifications in ICT, as well as a BTech in Communication Technology Practitioners. I am passionate about learning new skills and technologies, and I am always eager to take on new challenges and opportunities in the civilian sector.
