I am an experienced NED and Committee member, with experience of chairing a major Audit & Risk Committee. I my executive career, I have extensive experience in a number of innovative and fast-growing businesses in the Financial Services sector.That comprises strong experience in the internet/digital world, having led major turnarounds and development of online and mobile businesses, delivering a many fold increase in sales and service volume and value. I have also been Strategy Director of a fast-growing Cards and Consumer Finance Division, with board experience of both directly owned businesses and joint ventures. I led the acquisition programme for the division, and was also Managing Director of the European Cards business. I have a number of innovations and patents to my name, and I’ve won the Scottish Financial Enterprise Banking innovation award three years running.Previously, I was an operations director, and a management consultant with experience in the Television industry.
