Responsibilities:• Unique role created for me under the New Initiatives process by my practice leader, in recognition of the work I had been doing around data analytics and the value this could bring to Grant Thornton• Production of Insights Reports for key clients in the Central Region, comprising industry analysis, visualisations of key audit data and competitor benchmarking. Development of automation for aspects of the report production, to gain efficiencies in report generation• Provision of support and formal training to audit teams throughout the Central Region in using Inflo and the application of the LEAP methodology for journals testing and revenue testing

Responsibilities:• Responsible for planning and managing own workload to prioritise important tasks and ensure that client commitments are delivered on time and on budget• As the lead office champion, being responsible for organising and delivering training for the office and providing on-going support and assistance with IDEA and Inflo (Grant Thornton's chosen data analytics software)• Development of journals testing methodology to utilise data analytics in identification of key risk areas, driving improvements in the quality of the work performed• Preparation and delivery of LEAP week training for the office and providing on-going support as part of my Voyager/LEAP Champion role (Grant Thornton's audit software)• Taking ownership of all aspects of audit planning, fieldwork and completion to deliver high quality, ISA compliant audits against the agreed timetable and reporting to the job manager and RI• Working closely with the client’s finance team to ensure all the required information is received and any audit issues are resolved on a timely basis• Preparation of consolidated accounts, including complex consolidations with overseas companies• Reviewing work papers and draft accounts produced by assistants and delivering on-the-job coaching and training• Allocating work to junior members of the audit team, ensuring assistants understand their responsibilitiesClients:• Group in-charge for a number of large Norfolk based clients including a large Motor Retail group, a satellite communication systems group, and a retail and property group• In-charge for the North American audit of a multi-national fruit and flower growing group, performing the audit under IFRS from the client’s office in California

Responsibilities:• Completing audit tests on assigned sections of fieldwork• Managing the on-site team and fieldwork delivery for smaller client’s• Preparing sets of accounts accurately using CaseWare • Discussing relevant audit issues with personnel at clients' premises
