Current* Lead creative and editorial direction for assigned entertainment & pop culture podcasts across the network. Shows have included Lovett or Leave It, a weekly live comedy show & podcast; Keep It, a weekly show about entertainment & LGBTQIA+ interests; X-Ray Vision, a twice weekly fandom podcast* Plan, oversee, and execute a weekly live comedy show with multiple talent guests and segments, then manage post production of releasing the show as a podcast* Simultaneously oversee pre-production, recording, and post-production of two different shows and manage multiple teams of producers and editors* Coordinate with marketing, social media, video production, engineering, post production, advertising operations, design, and touring departments to plan, market, produce, publicize, and distribute podcasts across audio and video platforms and social media.* Coordinate with hosts, producers, booking agency, and PR teams to book multiple talent guests each week* Field produce live touring shows for intimate comedy venues, fan conventions, and 1000+ seat theaters.* Took over responsibilities as lead producer for two legacy podcasts, including the company’s flagship entertainment & culture show* Oversaw the launch of X-Ray Vision and established segments, production workflow, and tone* Train and manage direct reports. Train producers to take over my responsibilities as lead creative team* Track political and entertainment news and utilize a lifetime of entertainment knowledge to write detailed outlines for the hosts, contribute to coverage, fact check the episodes for accuracy, pitch segments, jokes, and guests, and contribute as a guest expert * Build an A/V slideshow to accompany a weekly live comedy show, pitch design ideas, create episode art, and select social media clips. * Monitor and engage with fan communities on Discord, Reddit, Facebook, IG, and Twitter to see what audiences were discussing and use that to inform coverage choices on the podcasts
