My daily duties require me to evaluate maintenance and inspections to ensure compliance of all maintenance activities to include the logistics maintenance support functional areas such as production, programs and mobility, maintenance training, plans, scheduling and documentation and data base management as directed by the Maintenance Group Commander. I create a monthly report on trend analysis for the Maintenance Standardization Evaluation Program (MSEP). I evaluate the quality of maintenance accomplished in the maintenance organization and perform the necessary quality functions to execute the MSEP, designed to provide management an objective sampling of both the quality of equipment and the proficiency of maintenance personnel. I analyze defect/failure quality data to detect unsatisfactory trends or weaknesses in the quality inspection system and recommend corrective and preventive actions. I investigate major problem areas to identify cause and coordinate corrective actions when required. I perform follow-up evaluations on corrective actions taken to determine effectiveness.

Directed and controlled all flight line maintenance actions. Managed 158 maintenance technicians in 6 distinct career fields. Oversaw the planning of scheduled maintenance and populated the weekly flying schedule for 14 C-130H/J aircraft. Prioritized aircraft sortie generation and maintenance to ensure world-wide mission capabilities. Drafted multiple Engineering Technical Assistance Requests and oversaw Organizational and Intermediate level maintenance actions.

Abilene, Texas Area

Managed and led the C-130H to C-130J transition training plan for 250 maintenance personnel across 7 maintenance career fields. Responsible for the maintenance and sortie generation for 28 assigned aircraft. Normally, worked in teams of two with minimal supervision, and completed all required maintenance actions and documentation required in the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS). I supervised multiple heavy maintenance/troubleshooting teams and led several Maintenance Recovery Teams (MRT's) for aircraft that were broken off-station
