2/2004–11/2010; Server Administrator III; Northrop Grumman Corporation; Avondale, LAProvide state-of-the-art solutions for high availability and fault tolerance servers across the United States. Install Windows 2003 and 2008 Server Operating Systems, configure, document and support Microsoft Server in an enterprise environment including managing storage, setting up user accounts, securing and backing up the server, as well as other functions. Perform deployments of existing and new Microsoft servers. Provide server security support using established security procedures. Document, test, evaluate and implement new security processes and procedures as necessary. Support active directory tasks. Support third party product server installations. Serve as a member of the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) team for Planning, testing and response. Serve as initial point of contact for system failures as required by service level agreements with Customers. Provide support for child domains and trusts supporting multiple Active Director, DNS and DHCP segments with requirements varying dependent on contractual obligations. Supporting printing, file sharing, Anti-Virus software, WSUS, backup; restore software (Tivoli and Symantec Net backup) and other various software packages. Serve on various Project management teams including migration of servers to SDC (Strategic Data Centers) from various locations around the United States.
