Responsible for overseeing a Team of three mechanics and five utility attendants who maintain the housekeeping of a 1.5 million square foot building, perform preventative maintenance on conveyor and sortation system, manage spare parts inventory, and operate a battery changer system that services over 100 pieces of warehouse equipment. The engineering and facilities team also responds to a wide range of building maintenance calls, completes various building repair projects or conveyor system upgrades as needed. Leads the Emergency Response Team on the A2 shift.

Responsible for leading thirty to fifty shipping team members who load outbound trailers for 64 Target Stores. The shipping team also runs the distribution center sorter system and de-palletization area. I currently am the load quality captain for shipping and was a 6 year member of the safety steering committee. • Experience at the Target Distribution Center Includes DC Expeditor, where I was responsible for supervising the scheduling of inbound freight and resolved transportation and expediting issues with vendors, stores, carriers and headquarters departments. • Held position of Regional Transportation Supervisor, where I was responsible for the on time delivery of Target merchandise trailers to 60-70 Target Stores. Managed six full-time dispatchers, three outbound carrier partners and a trailer maintenance vendor who maintained a fleet of over 300 Target owned trailers and five yard tractors. Responsible for working with backhaul vendors and ensuring timely pick-up of Target inbound freight. Held this position for 3 years.

Responsible for controlling the unclaimed, appointment and damage freight. In charge of ten office clerks, that performed clerical duties for over short and damaged, appointments, claims and customer service. • Held positions as Dock Supervisor and Relay Dispatch Coordinator. • Managed the Hazardous Materials Emergency Spill Response Team. Responsible for the disposal of hazardous wastes generated in spills, and attained the Technical Level Certifications in Hazardous Materials Emergency Response.
