After 10 years in the Australian Regular Army, I transitioned into the public safety sector in 2017 starting at Forest Fire Management Victoria. I now am employed by Fire Rescue Victoria as a Firefighter whilst continuing to serve in the Army Reserves. With experience in Leadership & Management, Training & Assessment and a broad range of Firefighting Skills, I am passionate about leading and developing skill sets within industry and setting standards high for the well-being of our community. As I was taught in the Army - Train Hard, Fight Easy.Recipient of an Australian of the Year Award (Victoria) in 2017 and the Australian Army’s Jonathan Church Ethical Soldier of the Year Award in 2017 also, I am extremely passionate about mental health in our veterans, and now our emergency service first responders. In the last 14 years I have raised over $170,000 for various charities supporting, veterans, emergency services, cancer research, Royal flying doctor service and Fight MND.I look forward to sharing part of my journey and networking to continue my work
