I have been with LokTek since January of 2002. My duties usually include working solo to survey for bids and proposals, determining solutions for problems which arise from engineering, material, or user failure, and then provide and execute those solutions through repairs of existing hardware, replacement of said hardware, or reengineering and/or modifying it,as necessary.I am often called on to lead a small team of locksmiths to create and implement master key systems for entire buildings.Electronic and low voltage locking hardware installation and retrofitting are other common duties in my scope of work, as is the continuing education required to install and service them.From time to time I am called on to instruct master key classes for some of our larger clients, and I personally train all of our new hires.I have a DCJS security clearance (background check by two State Police agencies and the FBI), as it is required for all security industry personnel in the DC area.
