-Interpret and verify prescription orders-Counsel patients on proper use of medications and potential side effects and interactions-Perform drug utilization review on each prescription to ensure safe and effective use of medications-Resolve adjudication issues with third party insurance plans-Perform patient outreach calls for follow up counseling and to ensure medication adherence-Delegate tasks and lead a team of pharmacy clerks, technicians, and interns
