-Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds-Verify and enter medication orders using Meditech EHR software-Verify sterile compounded medications using Baxter Dose Edge software-Manage inpatient dosing of vancomycin, aminoglycosides, anticoagulants, and parenteral nutrition-Clarify and correct problematic medication orders-Ensure correct preparation and dispensing of all dosage forms by pharmacy personnel -Perform sterile, non-sterile, and hazardous compounding of medications in compliance with USP-Deliver medication information to all members of the healthcare team-Operate and troubleshoot BD Pyxis MedStation systems-Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns-Train new colleagues-Maintain pharmacy inventory

-Analyze store performance and business metrics-Train and develop a team of pharmacy clerks, technicians, and interns-Maintain drug inventory levels by ordering products and returning expired or unused products-Prepare prescription schedules for patients taking multiple medications-Identify gaps in therapy and provide recommendations to prescribers-Counsel patients on safe medication use, side effects, and potential drug-drug or drug-disease interactions-Assist patients in self-care and provide over-the-counter recommendations-Administer and provide education on various vaccines-Organize off-site flu shot clinics for local businesses-Maintain courteous and professional relationships with store staff, patients, and other health care professionals-Provide excellent customer service
