I graduated from Marine Corps Bootcamp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego on December 7th of 2012. From there, I completed Marine Combat Training and went on to my military occupation school at Naval Air Station, Meridian Mississippi. I graduated from IMRL Asset Manager Specialist Course in April of 2013. I was then assigned orders to report to Marine Aircraft Group 29 (MAG-29) aboard Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina. From 2013 to 2016, I served as IMRL Manager and IMRL Non-Commission Officer in Charge for two squadrons under MAG-29. I twice received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal during my four year active duty service.
