 Effectively lead, managed and coached a diverse team of ten Americorps Members through full-time school based service by implementing City Year’s service model which balances the delivery of Tier 1 whole-school support and Tier 2 small group/one-one-one interventions in English Language Arts and Math for 200 students ranging from grade 3 through 8 at Burns Elementary-Middle School. Strategically analyzed previous and current student data (test scores, attendance rates and behavior interventions to develop a focus list of students to receive targeted intervention services in English Language Arts and Math. Additionally, created a progress monitoring dashboard to track student progress focused on the metrics of student grades, test scores, attendance rates, and number of suspensions. 71% of students who City Year Americorps Members tutored and supported at Burns Elementary-Middle in English Language Arts, improved on state assessments by at least one full grade level. 89% of students who City Year Americorps Members tutored and supported at Burns Elementary-Middle in English Language Arts ended the year with a grade of C or above. 60% of students who City Year Americoprs Members tutored and supported at Burns Elementary-Middle in Math ended the year with a grade of C or above.  Helped to move 68% of evaluated students on track in their socio-emotional learning skills which include self-awareness, self-management and relationship which contributes to college/career readiness per research. Served as a part of the school leadership team and fostered a strong partnership with school administration, staff and other key decision makers by demonstrating an understanding of the school’s priorities and working collaboratively to craft and implement solutions that leverage Americoprs Member talent and align the needs of the students with City Year’s output, outcome and impact goals.

 Committed to serve as a City Year Detroit Senior Americorps Member at Detroit Collegiate Preparatory High School, and led a strong diverse team of nine full-time Americorps members in completing 1700+ hours of national service.  Assess and analyzed student data for the 9th grade student population to support and provide targeted interventions in Attendance, Behavior, and Math/English course work to ensure academic growth Enhanced school culture and climate by collaborating with external organizations and school partners to coordinate whole school civic engagement opportunities within the Metro-Detroit area Facilitated a City Year Leadership Development workshop for 25 Americorps members at the 2015 Michigan Americorps Member Celebration.  Served as an ambassador for City Year at Michigan State University and Nationwide Insurance.
