Wide range of duties including initial plant design, support during manufacture, installation and commissioning of turnkey Flue Gas Treatment plant mainly for the Energy-from-Waste sector but also for the biomass sector. - Proposal work including calculations for the overall process plant design and individual plant equipment, sourcing supplier quotations, cost estimate and tender specification. - Subsequent tender follow-up questions from Clients. - Day to day running of the project, reporting to the Engineering Manager. - In house direction to other engineers for design and process disciplines. - Client and supplier liaison, both on a daily basis. - Process Engineering to determine plant design, control and operation. - Progress of supplier's designs and technical questions. - Supplier quality inspections. - Site engineering (permanent site attendance) during mechanical installation of process plant. - Assistance with commissioning of process plant. - Writing and compilation of O & M manuals.

Responsible for initial process selection during enquiry stage including equipment sizing, estimating and tendering duties.Subsequent Project Engineering from order award to project completion. - Defining the project scope and preparing the Project Plan. - Design calculations to determine the individual plant equipment and capacities. - In house direction to other engineers to establish process diagrams and plant layout. - Writing detailed technical specifications and data sheets. - Participating in HAZOP studies internally and with the Client. - Day to day progress of supplier's designs, technical questions and QA inspections. - Leading in design reviews and subsequent follow-up actions. - Writing O & M manuals.
