About Christopher Nelson, P.E.

Mr. Nelson has over thirty-five years of experience in environmental consulting, technology development, and management. His experience includes working for large and small consulting companies and with commercial and government clients. He successfully developed and demonstrated some of the first bioremediation and in-situ oxidation technologies. He has provided technical oversight on over 500 projects located around the world. He also developed green and sustainable remediation technology based on microbial fuel cells. Since 2015, he has investigated and tested various PFAS remediation technologies which culminated in a unique in-situ remediation technology called D-FAS. (U.S. patents 10,752,521 and 11,643,339). D-FAS was successfully demonstrated under ESTCP project ER-19-5075. Mr. Nelson has authored over 70 professional publications and presentations, and 6 patents.
