As a PLEXOS Analyst for Energy Exemplar, I am responsible for training, user support, consulting and PLEXOS database development for the Asia-Pacific region. I am exposed to a wide array of different Energy Market models and modelling approaches and I am required to identify and explain the cause of issues to assist in clients’ understanding and use of PLEXOS software.

Workpack Engineer prepares and interprets information for work packages for the construction supervision team. This involves liaison with the Contractor engineering team on a regular basis to mark-up engineering drawings, submit technical queries and provide material take-offs. The role evolved to Field Engineer which involves providing solutions to technical design issues and submitting field trouble reports.

ESP Field Engineer continues building advanced application engineering expertise, through exposure to more technical challenges. The position introduces additional business system workflows, and selling strategies used in preparing commercial proposals for presentation to clients. Activities associated with this position evolve: Spending additional time in the field and ART Center investigating and preparing dismantle, inspection, and failure analysis reports Working with support staff to understand the procurement, customer service, inventory, and invoicing work processes Completing more complex application design proposals on such technical challenges as high gas-liquid ratios, abrasives or horizontal pump systems. Working in the sales office preparing commercial proposals under the supervision of a technical sales engineer. When feasible, it is preferable to work with the sales organization on current job in the field in order to relate between the field and the sales department.
